At Deloitte, Andrea is known for her pioneer thinking and global vision, where she is a Tax Principal for the Financial Services practice working primarily in Global Information Reporting, a group of experts in tax transparency regimes applying to the financial services industry worldwide.

Andrea works internationally in leadership roles and assists financial institutions with global operations with the implementation of complex tax regulatory requirements, specializing in FATCA, CRS and TRACE. As a subject matter expert in this area, she sits at the Working-Party 10 of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

Andrea has designed and currently leads the AEOI Advantage platform (also known as “GIR Tracker”) a technology that compiles and compares FATCA and CRS rules and regulations across more than 100 jurisdictions, released in over 20 languages.

As a leader in her practice, Andrea currently serves as Chief Talent Officer for Global Information Reporting, a group composed of more than 150 professionals in US and India.

As an inclusion and mentoring champion at Deloitte, Andrea was awarded with 2016 Rising Star Award by the Women Bond Club.

Andrea is also an Adjunct Professor at Fordham Law School where she collaborates by teaching experiential courses and seminars. She received a master’s degree in law (LLM) by Fordham and is a certified Enrolled Agent with the IRS. She has a bachelor and master’s degree in business administration (MBA) and a bachelor and master’s degree in law by Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Madrid) and is a member of the Madrid Bar Association, certified to practice law in the European Union.

Since she moved to the New York City from Madrid, Spain, Andrea lives in Brooklyn with her husband and her dachshund.
