To All Women’s Bond Club Members,

This is an exciting time to join the leadership of the Women’s Bond Club. Service on a Board is an excellent opportunity to help grow professionally and personally, to develop skills, gain unique experience, make lasting connections and make an impact to our Club.

The Board has asked us to lead the process for nominating candidates. While the Nominating Committee will be working to identify potential candidates, we would also appreciate your input in Nominating candidates you believe would be valuable contributors to the Club’s Board. At this year’s Annual Meeting, which will occur in August via a recorded webcast, the terms of the some current members of the Board of Directors will be expiring. This is our Annual Call for WBC Board Nominations.

Factors for selection of Board members include:

Has she demonstrated furthering the role of women in the financial services industry?
Is she an exemplary role model?
Does she have the managerial experience to support her role on the Board and help grow the Club? We are targeting level of experience at Managing Director or equivalent.
Has she demonstrated a strong interest in and support of the Club?
Can she devote sufficient time to sponsor and execute Board driven initiatives?
Does she have sponsorship and seniority within her firm/company?
Do her skills align to the needs of the WBC Board? (Finance or marketing for example)

Board members attend monthly board meetings and participate in all critical decisions regarding the Women’s Bond Club. They actively promote the Club by attending its events and the events hosted by other organizations. Board members also chair, or co-chair, as well as actively participate in at least one of the Club’s Committees: Events, Corporate Membership and Rising Stars, Community Outreach, Marketing, Technology, Merit Award Dinner and Finance. Board participation is an important and significant commitment. We are looking for women who want to get more involved in furthering the objectives of the Women’s Bond Club.

A brief bio or resume of the candidate (should describe current role and responsibilities)
The reason why you feel this candidate should serve on the board (please consider the factors noted above)
The names of five active Club Members who support the nomination
