Golf Networking Event

Royce Brook Golf Course
Hillsborough, NJ

Lean in to your career—with Golf…
Sheryl Sandberg has women talking about "leaning in." And, whatever your opinion of leaning in, when Sheryl Sandberg tells women to “lean in”, she wants women to succeed. And success can come in many ways. Learning to play golf—and using it to make important contacts, build relationships and being where the action is can help you succeed.
So lean into your golf game, and lean into your career. Our 7th Annual Golf Networking event offers something for everyone, regardless of their golf experience:

Group 1 - For brand new or newer golfers: a Golf Instructional Workshop - Get into the swing of golf with 4 hours of instruction, including 2 hours of instruction on the full swing, putting, and chipping; 1-1/2 hours on how to use golf for business, equipment, dress, rules, etc. and a 1/2 hour hands-on demonstration on the important points of golf etiquette, etc.

Group 2 - For “lightly experienced golfers”: Instruction and Play - Geared towards those with some golf experience who would like an instructional “tune-up” (1-1/2 hours of instruction) as well as the opportunity to play 9-holes of golf (scramble format). Must have played golf on a course in the past.

Group 3 - For experienced golfers: play in a “traditional” outing with 18 holes of golf. Still not convinced? According to Catalyst, the reason women cite most often for why they can’t get to the top is “Exclusion from Informal Networks.” And the informal network cited most often is golf. So don’t be left out. It’s a great way to network with other professional women.

Price: $185 (for any of the 3 options). To register, fill out this form. We will collect rental club fees the day of the event. The outing includes lunch, the golf option of your choice and a cocktail party.

Preliminary Itinerary:
Check-in: 11:00 - 12:00
Lunch: 12:00 - 1:00
All Golf Activities: 1:00 - 5:30
Networking Cocktail Party: 5:30 - 7:00

Additional Information:
Cancellation policy: We will have a no-cancellation policy once payment is made.

Equipment: Provided for Group 1. Groups 2 & 3, those playing golf, must have their own clubs or rent them ($35/set). Rentals must be indicated and reserved AT LEAST TWO WEEKS in advance. Must indicate right or left handed.
Footwear: Golf shoes (no metal spikes), sneakers, or any rubber soled, closed flat shoe is acceptable.

Clothing: Golf shirts (collared or not); long pants, Bermuda shorts are all acceptable. Jeans and short shorts are not.
