Ivette Collazo is a Senior Relationship Manager within BlackRock’s Index and Data Solutions team in Business Operations. Ivette leads the relationship management function including driving and executing the firm’s index and data provider strategy.
Prior to joining BlackRock in 2010, Ivette spent 9 years at ICAP, an interdealer broker, including time spent with BrokerTec, an interdealer fixed income electronic trading startup owned by the world’s largest banks. At ICAP & BrokerTec, Ivette oversaw Marketing, Public Relations and led business development efforts within its market data segment focusing on alliance partnerships.
Ivette started her career in 1993 at Bloomberg L.P. where she began as an analyst within the data operations division. Ivette went on to hold roles strategic sales that focus on the top institutional investors; and product strategy for Bloomberg’s fixed income electronic trading offerings, including the founding of Bloomberg BondTrader.
Prior to joining the board of the Women’s Bond Club, Ivette was recognized in 2004 as a WBC Rising Star. She is an active participant in BlackRock’s Women’s Network (WIN) where she led BlackRock’s NY “MD-Director chats” program which offers the firm’s women directors the opportunity to connect with senior leadership to garner advice on career management and other relevant mentorship.
Ivette earned a B.S.B.A degree with an emphasis in Finance from West Virginia University. She currently resides in Northern New Jersey with her son.
