Amy Yan, Managing Director, is head of Corporate Rates Risk Solutions in North America within Global Capital Markets at BofA Securities. Based in New York, Amy leads a team that originates, structures and executes risk management solutions for publicly traded corporations across different industries that are headquartered in the U.S. and Canada.

Prior to her current role, Amy advised companies in the Technology, Media, Telecommunications and Gaming sectors on how to use derivatives to achieve desired debt capital structure, while minimizing risk and uncertainty associated with financing costs. Consistently focusing on building, cultivating and maintaining client relationships, she became a trusted risk management advisor to her clients. In 2014, Amy was voted the top corporate rates salesperson in derivatives on Wall Street by Greenwich, a leading global provider of data, analytics and insights to the financial services industry.

Since 2015 Amy has been a member of the board of the Women’s Bond Club, which is focused on advancing women in financial services and shaping the future of the industry. She also served as a co-chair of the BofA Securities Women’s Leadership Council for the Americas region, supporting its mission to connect women throughout the firm’s Global Banking and Markets division to drive business, attract talent and inspire success.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and is a CFA charterholder
