Charitable Giving
Charitable Giving makes annual grants and organizes member volunteer opportunities with nonprofit organizations that echo the mission of the WBC which is to support disadvantaged women and girls in NYC through education, mentoring and professional development. We encourage all WBC members to volunteer for our events or directly with our committee.

RTSWS is a financial and investment literacy program designed to spark the interest of a diverse population of high school girls into careers of finance. The year-long academic program equips girls with the skills to succeed financially and potentially pursue a career in finance. Female financial professionals lead classroom workshops on money management, budgeting, allocating paycheck deductions, evaluating company stocks and bonds, stock market updates, salary negotiation, saving, and investing for retirement. The WBC new program with RTSWS starts in the Fall of 2022 and runs throughout the school year. RTSWS provides training and high-level organization for many of the components of the program. 2022 will be the first year that the WBC is sponsoring RTSWS with our partner school is the High School of Economics and Finance located at 100 Trinity Place in NYC.
